This page explains what information Cat Cunningham Photography ("Cat", "we") collects through catcunniphoto.com, the inquiry form and client galleries, and how it's used. Short version: it's used to reply to you and run your shoot. It's never sold.
What we collect
- What you send in the inquiry form: your name, email, phone, session type, date, location, Instagram handle, how you heard about us, your message, and your partner's name if you add it.
- How you found the site: the first page you visited, the website that linked you here (like Google or Instagram) and any campaign tags on the link. This is kept in a cookie (see below) and attached to your inquiry if you send one.
- Client work: if you book, the messages, contracts, invoices, questionnaires and photos for your project.
- Basic technical data: like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address and browser type to deliver the page and stop abuse. The inquiry form stores a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit spam.
Cookies
- cc_src remembers how you found the site (first page, referring site, campaign tags) for 90 days, so if you inquire later Cat knows what brought you here. It holds no name, email or ID and is only read by catcunniphoto.com.
- Gallery cookies (on galleries.catcunniphoto.com) remember a private gallery you've unlocked, and give your browser a random code so the photos you favorite are saved and Cat can see them.
We don't use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or third-party pixels. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site still works.
How it's used
To reply to your inquiry, plan and deliver your session, send contracts and invoices, deliver your gallery, and understand which places (like Instagram or Google) bring in inquiries.
Who else sees it
We never sell or rent your information. It's shared only with the services that run the business: website and data hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery, and the payment processor if you pay an invoice online (card numbers go straight to the processor; we never see or store them). We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long it's kept
The source cookie expires after 90 days. Inquiries and client records are kept as long as they're needed for your project and Cat's business records. Ask and we'll delete what we aren't required to keep.
Your choices
Email cat@catcunniphoto.com to see, correct or delete the information we have about you.
